Sunday 11th December 2011 at 11.00 a.m. we start our walk for life.
Start: Centro Comercial GALA, Avda. Rafael Puig, Playa de las Américas, Arona
Finish: Playa Fañabe, by seafront, in front of Centro Comercial El Litoral, Costa Adeje
Distance: 4,8km walking along the sea.
There will be registration tables at the start - whoever wishes to make a donation for this cause can do so and will receive a ticket for a raffle at the arrival. Each of you will then also receive a “pink” souvenir from the walk, such as a pink cap, pink breast cancer band etc. (as long as stock lasts)
Of course you can also come and walk with us without registering, as walking with us is obviously free; but we hope that many will make a donation as the amount will go directly to those affected as well as to the investigation for the long awaited cure for cancer.
Keep your raffle ticket till the end of the walk, as we have yet again incredible prizes like weekends in super hotels, wines, dinners etc. These prizes are also donations also by companies who kindly support the cause.
We will have information stands at both ends of the walk, where the 2 different associations will be able to inform you on the huge importance of early detection of breast cancer and any information you may need.
